My Work
After 20 rewarding years at Vanguard, I qualified for early retirement and I embraced that opportunity to pursue a new chapter with Penn Advisory Group as a Senior Financial Advisor. My career has been defined by building trusted relationships and guiding individuals through meaningful financial decisions. Now, I’m excited to bring that same dedication and insight to a firm that values personalized strategy and long-term vision. The dynamic nature of this industry continues to challenge and inspire me—and I remain passionate about helping clients navigate their financial journeys with clarity and confidence.
My Travels
During my 51 years, I have been discovering the diverse people and landscapes our country has to offer. I recently met a personal challenge to visit all 50 states—capping it off with a spectacular finale in Alaska. Growing up in Iowa gave me a head start since I was basically already halfway to everywhere. From coast to coast, I've collected some unforgettable experiences and treasured memories.
The Brooks Family
Family is at the heart of who I am. After 23 years of marriage, my wife and I love the joy our two teenage children bring. From learning to drive to cheering them on in sports, are days are full. We have shared a lot of laughter, taken many adventures, competed in a lot game nights, tackled multiple projects and learned a lot from each other over the years. Our shared experiences and family bonds are truly a blessing. Now the college search is on!
Our Golden Doodle
Lucy, our lively 3-year-old mini goldendoodle, fills our home with a mixture of chaos and love. Her playful antics and affectionate cuddles brighten our days, reminding us of the joy a furry friend brings. Life with her is never dull, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
